We kindly invite you to join the ‘Meet the Jury’ seminar, featuring international speaker Prof. Menno van Zelm to discuss his research on 'Manipulation of human B-cell memory: vaccination and allergen immunotherapy'.

The seminar will explore how B-cell memory develops and can be influenced through vaccination and immunotherapy. Prof. van Zelm will discuss how his team studies antigen-specific memory B cells to better understand the formation, durability and adaptability of immune memory. Drawing on research into COVID-19 vaccination, immune deficiencies and IgE-mediated allergies, he will illustrate how these insights can help improve vaccine responses and contribute to more effective allergen immunotherapy.

This seminar will be given by:

  • Prof. Menno van Zelm (Erasmus MC, dept. Immunology - Rotterdam, the Netherlands & Dept Immunology, Monash University and Alfred Hospital - Melbourne, VIC, Australia)

This is a Meet the Jury seminar. Additional information on how to apply for these seminars can be found here.
